We're Thinking of You!! - 5/18

Thank you for all the work you're doing to help those struggling with their health. My father was recently hospitalized and it was such a scary and difficult time in part because no family member was able to be there with him in the hospital. He had some exceptional nurses that cared for him. They took time to put a smile on his face and sit with him to make sure he understood all the medical information he was receiving. As the daughter of a patient, I thank you for stepping in and "holding the hands" of our fathers, grandmothers and brothers when we are unable to do so and for helping us stay informed and their condition!!

From Mz. Squeamish - 5/13

My veins are never cooperative when you need to draw blood from me. They are thin and play hide and seek and burse easily, But I am forever grateful for the care you have given me when I have been in need of care. I would have loved to had ventured in your profession but being squeamish (big time) and a bit dyslexic, I was afraid I'd forget what day I was in. Thank you for your quick thinking, brilliant minds, your tender touch, your caring voices, and your hearts that wrap around our world to cure all humans no matter race, color, religion, or political views. Sending each and everyone of you the biggest AIR HUG. Nurses are Brave, Tough, Resilient; Many Blessings from God to you.

Thank You to our Super-Human Frontlines - 5/12

I'm humbled by the work that you, our frontlines, are doing - today and always. I have a lot of family members who are MAs, PAs, and RNs, and I know that working as a healthcare professional is ALWAYS hard work. It's also thankless work a lot of the time, and even when we're not in a pandemic, it can be dangerous work. We have come to expect healthcare providers to be at the top of their game, fixing problems, working at lightning speed, every single day. We don't see them get sick or tired, and we rarely see them make mistakes. It takes so much commitment and passion to give 110 percent all the time. I don't know how you do it, but I'm so thankful you do, now more than ever. Thank you.

Thank you, so very much! - 5/12

I have worked beside you all for decades. I have had nurses hold my hand in times of crisis, almost dying, recovering from surgery and at times when I've just had a rough spell with illness and needed someone to listen when others just said it was nothing. I support you all, now more than ever. Just going to the grocery store sends me into a panic. I cannot imagine having to deal with COVID-19 face-on. The risks you endure and the loss that you all have seen is unimaginable in good times, and now, even more so. Thank you for your bravery, diligence and perseverance during this epidemic. Your care for others is the reason why we have hope and will endure these trying times.

I am sure the long work hours (which turn into long work weeks) and the hectic pace on the floors, leaves you tired and drained, feeling a little like a wet dish rag. Thank You - 5/11

Before COVID-19, nurses were these amazing people who gave me a hug when I saw my mother in law in the ICU for the first time, who stayed late on their own time to watch my firstborn baby being delivered by C-section. Every single nurse I have ever encountered treated their patients like a member of their family. But now, you don't "just" take care of your patients, you risk your life every day with that incredible "If I won't, who will?" mindset. You're officially superhuman to me now. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you and your family have sacrificed to face this pandemic. You are forever our true heroes.

Thankful - 5/11

Two years ago my husband was hospitalized with a serious illness requiring an intense surgery to save his life. Sitting in his hospital room I fell apart more than once. It was his nurses who took the time to pull not only my husband through but me as well. It is a difficult thing to be on the other side of nursing however it is an eye opening experience to show us how important we really are! Not only to the patient, but to the family as well. In all professions of Nursing we hold the ability to change a life in every encounter we have. I am eternally grateful to have been given this position in life. THANK YOU to all Nurses who have chosen to take on this responsibility to help.

Thank You Rings Hollow - 5/8

You are the fire department that runs into burning buildings when everyone else is running out. You are the compassionate family to those whose families are not allowed in. You are the calm, reassuring voice, the hand-holder, the night watchman, watching for signs of improvement or the contrary. You place yourself in harm's way, every day, thinking only of your patients and how you can do more. You are the cheerleaders that line hallways in a gauntlet of celebration as each surviving soul is wheeled into the sunshine. You are mothers, fathers, daughters, sons, grandparents, nieces, nephews, brave warriors. Thank you for who you are and all that you do. God bless you all!

Thank you for your Service - 5/7

"Thank you for your service." These words have historically been reserved for members of our military and veterans. In this war, you are the soldiers, "on the front lines," battling day in and day out to help sick people live and get better, or in some cases simply to not die alone. You are also fighting to try and keep yourselves well so that you can continue to do your crucial jobs, sometimes under less than ideal circumstances. Know that you, your sacrifices, hard work, and efforts to beat this thing are recognized and appreciated more than any words can say. Thank you. Stay safe.
